My weekend of fun is unfortunately over, so now it’s time for my obligatory recap posts. Coming in first, we have day 1. Which was honestly my favorite, if I do say do myself. And that’s mainly because of all the amazing people that I meant and got to reconnect with.

Shoutout to my baddie blerd bestie that I got to see again after a long year of being apart 🥹
I got to meet the ever-so-talented blerd, DJ, and content creator , and saving the best for the last, my internet friend that I got to meet in the flesh, who is a nostalgic content creator and YouTuber.

These individuals alongside some other amazing people I tagged above, are truly what made my first day at Blerd the best experience it possibly could be, and I wouldn’t trade for the world. And be sure to for more recap content coming in the oncoming days. 😊

Make Room For New Emotions 💙🧠🤯

In honor of the release of the second movie in the Inside Out franchise, I thought it would be great to post a cosplay to commemorate this long awaited occasion.

So here’s a little to my Sadness rendition, which was one of my first ever cosplays. But I had to add some modern touches, in true Nostalgic Black Girl Fashion, to make it more applicable to my cosplay style today.

This year, not only was I a host, but also a designer, who cultivated some absolutely killer threads that made it down the runway!

Therefore I present to you KayB Customs, and fashion brand, created by me KAY B that takes old, thrifted, or discarded clothing, and breathes a sense of new life into it through a variety of upcycling and designing fashions. I just want to thank God and all my models who are tagged above, as well as everyone else who helped me coordinate this and put it all together cause it truly was just an amazing event that I wouldn’t trade for the world.

For those of you who don’t know, Fashion and Music for a Cause (F+M4aC) is annual showcase in the Greater Lehigh Valley area headed by + that brings a platform to local designers, models, musical artists, and vendors to showcase their talents on the runway. Every year we select a different local charity to highlight and the proceeds from this event go towards fundraising that special organization.

This year I’m proud to announce that we partnered with Miracle League of Northampton County, PA a nonprofit organization that locally provides community building and baseball activities for children with special needs, and we were able to put on quite the show!

I legit only seen in done on this app one time before… Shout out to the ever so talented for giving me the idea, and she probably don’t even know 🤭 Anyway, XJ9 a.k.a Jenny Wakeman will always have a special place in my heart for being so relatable despite being entirely made of metal. I also really enjoyed the art style of this show giving the viewer experience major retro 50s vibes, and don’t even get me started on the Crust Cousins… can I say fashion ICONS!!! Coming in second for ‘s Proud Week for this year we have the Gross Sisters. Some of the MANY iconic characters to come out of The Proud Family. Fun Fact: Did you know
cannonically these bad bullying siblings are of Jamaican descent, are cousins with , and are blue because they are ashy and too broke to purchase lotion.

I know they are antagonists in both the original and spinoff. But when you think of the little we do know of their personal lives. It seems they are forced to work all day at home for no pay, and barely have enough funds to get by.
