We didn’t leave for NYE, but it felt like we did because we boarded some cool 😎 planes ✈️ at ! Now through Jan. 29, Tulsa Air & Space Museum is offering half price admission on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! We took advantage of this great deal and learned a ton about flying and outer space 🪐! We also enjoyed their new playground 🛝!

The Breakfast Blondes’ 👱 👱 final breakfast of 2024 was at .tulsa in . I have told so many people about this place, and they have all been really pleased with their experiences. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, a great rooftop … this place has it all! Not to mention a heated pool (you can buy a day pass)… no, we did not take a dip in the pool after breakfast!😉🤪

Bernie tried the Avocado Toast 🥑, and I tried the Chilaquiles. If you’ve never heard of Chilaquiles, you might wanna watch more Gilmore Girls. They are basically breakfast nachos. Soma’s Chilaquiles are served with shredded pork, eggs, and lots of guac. Yum!

Soma’s vibe is one of my favorites of any restaurant in Tulsa. You get great views of the city, great service and yummy food. Highly recommend! 💯

A new year is right around the corner … what type of food (or drink) should we try each month in 2025?!

THE BEST BRUNCH IN OWASSO hands down! knocks it out of the ballpark once again! That espresso martini 🍸 was the best I’ve ever had … chilled glass and all! I loved my Lamb Sliders (📸2), and my husband raved about his Salmon Scramble (📸3). Smoke is truly one of our favorite spots because both locations consistently provide high quality food and service! 💯 👏👏🏆🏆

The Mr. and I recently had the chance to go out for a fancy date night and try the new in Jenks. This place has a nice vibe … not too fancy for a steakhouse, but still classy. The food was delicious, and the potions are generous.

📸1: Crab Cake … literally the size of a tennis ball!
📸2: Aperol Cosmopolitan: ALOO Vodka, Aperol, yuzu bitters, lime
📸3: Filet topped with Blue Cheese Butter
📸4: Side of Cheesy Au Gratin Potatoes
📸5: Brick Chicken, served with sour cream and Caviar Beurre Blanc. Not your average chicken!
📸6: Chocolate Cake: literally the largest single slice of chocolate cake I’ve ever seen. Soooo good!

We’re so glad chose to open this delightful restaurant in Jenks!

Friends and I had a chance to check out Tulsa’s newest restaurant addition, 🍽️! We were really impressed by the quality of food and the service at this casual Mediterranean restaurant.

A server brought a complimentary warm pita 🫓 for the table to enjoy. It was soft and delicious dipped in olive oil!

📸1: Grilled Citrus Salmon: Salmon served with tabbouleh, roasted veggies, tomato-onion relish and tzatziki.
📸2: All of the foods! If I’m honest, that little mason jar of chocolate was my fave! Triple Chocolate Mousse: Layers of chocolate mousse, white chocolate, and cocoa crumbles. Save room for it!
📸3: Shwarmbaa (love the name!) 🐑: Juicy lamb stuffed pita with lettuce, onion, peppers, and tomatoes dressed with tzatziki.

As you can see, they even have a full bar at Meddys, and an outdoor patio. I highly recommend this new addition to the Tulsa food scene! We’ll be back!

The Breakfast Blondes’ November breakfast took place 🥞 🥓 👱 👱‍♀️ 🎉

Queenies has been a mainstay in since 1983. This restaurant / bakery is always busy! We cozied up on barstools by the window and enjoyed a yummy breakfast!

The Pain Perdu (French Toast filled with custard) was definitely was my favorite! This is unlike any French Toast I’ve ever tried!

The Queenies’ patio is a popular outdoor dining spot in Tulsa, and while I thought it was too chilly to eat outside that morning, it is adorable that the restaurant provides blankets for outdoor diners.

Naturally, we had to end our visit to Utica Square with a photo in one of their iconic phone booths 📞 ❤️

One month in 2024 left for us to try your fave breakfast spot! What are we missing?!

If you’re looking for a fun outdoor activity in , look no further than All Star Sports Complex’s mini golf. Some may know this place as Gilligan’s Island. Others know it as the putt putt place off 169 at 61st.

About once a decade, I frequent this place 😅😅 My 8 year old recently discovered his love for mini golf, and he was thrilled for me to take him to All Star! It’s a full 18-hole mini golf course, complete with plenty of opportunities for kids and adults alike to watch in dismay as they knock their golf balls into the water. I saw the man whose job it is to fish the balls out of the pond, and I promise he has to be the world’s most patient yet equally frustrated human. Bless his heart. ❤️

Anywho, it was $15 for me and my kid to have an entertaining and memorable afternoon. All Star also has batting cages, an arcade, and a yummy Mexican restaurant, there. ⛳️ 🤩

BREAKFAST BLONDES ARE BACK! 👱‍♀️ 👱 In case you missed it, 2024 is the Year Of Breakfast for us, and we’ve been going to a different breakfast spot in each month. Our October breakfast stop was . You probably think of their delicious Bavarian cream cake when you think of Ludgers, but they offer so much more! Their breakfasts and lunches are delicious and incorporate their house-made breads and other fresh ingredients.

We tried:
1️⃣Egg in a Basket - fried egg 🍳 and cheese on grilled potato bread. Added an avocado 🥑
2️⃣ Classic Breakfast Bowl - scrambled eggs, potatoes, bell peppers, spinach, onion, & cheddar cheese. Added sausage.

Everything was fresh and tasty! We were also super impressed by their huge selection of everything birthday 🎉. If you’re looking for cute candles, this is the place to go!

We have two months left of 2024! Which breakfast places are a must in your opinion?

A grocery store with a playground?! My son and I loved checking out the new in Broken Arrow! It has a great playground, a huge patio with a cafe, and there are live concerts there every Friday and Saturday night! 🎸 I foresee a fun night involving an outdoor concert, their margarita machine, and our kids running around the playground in the near future. 💫

We tried the most adorable coffee shop / bakery this weekend! originally started in Port Elizabeth, South Africa in 2007 and recently transplanted to South Tulsa! Bringing the unique and delicious flavors right here to ! I tried an iced coffee with Ubuntu syrup (flavors of caramel, pecans, chocolate, and coconut). It was so sweet and delicious! ☕️ 😋

We were also offered samples of the Ubuntu bar, which is so sweet, and I’ll be back for more of it! We also tried the Cobblestone Bar (layers of shortbread, strawberry jam, sweet/sticky almonds). Very tasty! I definitely want to go back to try their yummy-looking quiches and gigantic croissants!

What a delight to have a new addition to the Tulsa restaurant and coffee scene! 🇿🇦 🥐 ☕️ Be sure to go support this new local business!

POV: You find the cutest local bookstore! 📕 🤓 ☕️ 🎉

If you haven’t been to then you are missing out! Not only do they have a great selection of popular books, local authors, and whimsical items, but you will also be greeted by the shop’s pet, Quinn the Bearded Dragon! 🐉 🦎 They also have a lovely selection of handmade truffles, scones, and other delicious-looking items. What a great addition to !

We finally had a chance to make it to the new pedestrian bridge! The nostalgic part of me kind of misses the old, decrepit bridge 😅 But this one is a huge upgrade and much appreciated by runners such as myself who love doing the Riverside loop 🏃‍♀️ Also, we have water in the river! 🤩 I can’t wait to see it at night sometime! 💡 👏 Yay, Tulsa!

Looking for a chill spot to grab a drink? Vintage Wine Bar in is the most unpretentious wine/cocktail bar your little heart could fancy. My husband and I enjoyed a couple of coffee-infused cocktails there this weekend. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the new restaurant, Copper Dome, located inside Silo Event Center. It just opened a few weeks ago and offers a quiet, unique atmosphere and a truly special dining experience. My group of 6 had such a fun dinner here recently.

Chef Tyler Whitson (formerly Palace Cafe) has created a unique menu, allowing guests to choose 3 courses, 4 courses, or Chef’s Tasting, which includes wine pairings. With Chef’s Tasting, your culinary adventure is a surprise as Chef surprises you with some amazing dishes. Before serving, your server will ask if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.

I chose 4 courses. My courses were:
Carrot Goddess (carrots drenched in a delicious sauce)
Sweet Potato Risotto (I could eat this for days!)
NY Strip cooked to perfection (one of the best steaks I've had in Tulsa!)
Copper Dome dessert (unique dome-shaped treat)

I also enjoyed a Brown Butter Old Fashioned. It's a slightly sweet take on the classic cocktail.

The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and we will most definitely be back! Check then out on OpenTable for reservations.

My kids had no cavities during their recent dentist 🦷 appointments, so naturally, I had to reward them with sugar afterwards. 😅😜🤦‍♀️ We tried the coolest new dessert place in , .taiyaki ! It just opened a few weeks ago and is truly a unique experience! 🐠 🍦

If you haven’t tried taiyaki, it is a must! It’s a cone shaped like a fish, but has more of a waffle consistency and flavor compared to a regular cone. My boys said the taiyaki was their favorite part! They each had the chocolate soft serve with an upside fish / taiyaki. They also chose gummy bears and sprinkles as toppings. Fingers crossed for no cavities on their next dentist appointments!😅😅😅

I tried the matcha soft serve, which has a green tea flavor. It was really unique! I topped it off with some Oreo sprinkles. I absolutely love the consistency of their soft serve!

You can also order taiyaki without soft serve. I ordered two taiyaki to go, one filled with Nutella, and one filled with custard. My husband devoured them within two minutes of me bringing them home. 😅 He said they were a unique pastry-type treat.

THE PUMPKIN PANCAKE OBSESSION IS REAL!
started serving its Autumn Harvest Pancakes today: pumpkin pancakes topped with marshmallow cream, granola, and blueberries. Yummmmmy!

Note that the Oklahoma-shaped pancake is NOT pumpkin. It’s their delicious Famous PanOK! Cake - made w/ Sweet Cream Batter, Bacon
Local Pecans, Bourbon Maple Glaze & Mascarpone Butter.

I highly recommend both!

It’s no secret than has long been one of my favorite breakfast spots in , and that was the stop for the Breakfast Blondes’ September Breakfast!

It’s the time of year when our bellies are craving all things pumpkin! 🎃 If you’re looking for the best pumpkin pancakes in Tulsa, look no further than Savoy! They are mouth-wateringly delicious and topped with cinnamon butter!

We also tried a Croissant Sandwich: house-made croissant, thin sliced Cure 81 ham, Swiss cheese, fried egg, avocado & mayo, and served with fresh fruit. The croissant honestly stole the show … so flaky and buttery! Did you know Savoy serves more than 100 house-made items?!

Of course, we couldn’t leave without ordering a cinnamon roll. Many people (me included) believe Savoy has the best cinnnaon rolls in Tulsa. They are so moist and buttery! You just can’t go wrong with a Savoy cinnamon roll!

There are only 3 more months in the year, so we’re going to do our best to fit in the breakfast places that have been suggested to us! 🥞 🍳 Our waistlines continue to expand!😜😜

We ♥️ local food and goods! Handmade in BA is one of our favorite spots to get both!
