Born in Greece and of especially mixed descent, DJ and producer Marina George embodies an array of nationalities and influences, steadily gravitating towards hard, hypnotic and sensual techno. Despite her considerably young DJ career, within 4 years Marina has already performed at a number of venues internationally, including Mixology and Shoreditch Platform in London, OD Ocean Drive in Ibiza, and

Hammahalle in Berlin’s iconic club Sisyphos. This year, she was also selected to attend and perform at the European Female DJ Summit in Copenhagen, which was supported by the European Union. Born into a family background of ballet and opera, Marina’s artistic journey has been influenced by a wide range of music, to say the least. A classically trained pianist and songwriter during her younger years, she later developed a deep love for grunge, rock and punk; the exact rebellious flavours of which still infiltrate her approach to electronic music. Marina’s first ever release was dropped on prestigious techno label Suara, getting charted on Beatport’s Peak Hour Techno Tracks and receiving support from the likes of Ramiro Lopez, Charlotte de Witte, Marco Faraone, D-Unity and Sasha. Her productions, summed up as “heavy beats frosted with warm vocals” feature her own voice, spoken word and writing, the content of which has received attention from renowned music publications such as Data Transmission. With an undying determination to speak her mind through sound waves, Marina’s unique gripping selection has landed her features on internationally celebrated radio shows including Sound of Berlin, FluxFM, Ibiza Sonica, Pure Ibiza Radio, Frisky Radio and Powertools Mixshow in LA.

Thank you so much for a closing that was especially meaningful to me.

Rage, euphoria, power and pain all had their place in this set (and my shadow loves a bit of punk). 🥀

I took new risks, yet felt so calm and grounded throughout. The experience was very special to me, and I had a beautiful, open-minded crowd right by my side.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the trust and the profound impact you continue to have on my artistic growth.

It was an honour to close after ‘s powerful set and to be surrounded by pure energy until the very last track - a Bowie gem I’d dreamed of ending with for years.

This was the perfect moment: passionate, rebellious, real. Perhaps my favourite moment in the vault so far 🫀

What an incredible day at .studios with ✨

It was such a pleasure to play for this amazing crew again, the energy of this iconic space really allowed me to dig into the gritty side of my sound and my musical roots (very much linked to the UK) 🫠

My track “Le Vide” is out now on .berlin 👁️✨

Every piece I create reflects inner conflicts or key realisations from my journey, even when I’m not consciously aware of it.

This track emerged during a period of learning how to inhabit the body, becoming an auditory depiction of awareness lost through illusionary escape - falling into a void, pulled beneath waves of emptiness. The tension released in this piece gave voice to a piercing realisation: that disconnection comes at the cost of presence.

This was my last opening at now up ahead of my next set this Saturday.

Born and raised in Greece and of specially mixed descent, Ibiza-based DJ and Producer, Marina George, embodies an array of nationalities and influences which steadily gravitate towards a blend of galactic house and deep, dark and sensual techno.

With a deep-rooted attraction to the unusual whilst drawing inspiration from obscure film and literature, Marina sets the stage within various shades of strange and a discrete touch of the dark; a home far away from comfort zones, often blending heavy beats with warm vocals.

Born into a family background of ballet and opera, music was always present in Marina’s life. A classically-trained pianist and songwriter during her younger years, Marina later developed a deep love for grunge, rock and punk; the exact rebellious flavours of which still infiltrate her approach to electronic music.

When studying business in Rotterdam, the Greek native became deeper indulged by electronic music, earning an internship at respected Dutch clubbing staple, Bird.
