The first edition of Tasweer magazine was published on 10th August, 2012 and since then it is published every month. The editor of this Magazine is Rahmat Dewan who is also running a number of blogs on the internet for last 2 years about Pashto showbiz. One of his blogs Pashto cinema was created by him in February 2012. Before Pashto cinema, there wasn't any website or platform on the int
ernet specifically about Pashto cinema, Pashto drama, Pashto music and other showbiz activities. Rahmat Dewan started first Pashto showbiz blog and he provided a lot of information, photos, videos and news about all Pashto actress, actors and directors on his blog and that blog had been liked by Pashto cinema fans massively. Pashto film industry (Pollywood) came into being in 1971 and since than there has not been a single specific magazine only for Pashto film industry. Though, there were some weekly Urdu Magazine which also covered Pashto cinema news on some of their pages inside the magazine. Due to this critical situation, Rahmat Dewan took this responsibility and started first Pashto showbiz magazine "Tasweer" which published recently in August, 2012 and will have been published every month for Pashto film, music and drama fans. Team includes Ashfaq Toru, Abdulwali Khan, Rizwan Sajin and Nemroz Qais and. Our Mission:
"These days, Pakhtuns are not interested in Pashto cinema films, CD's Drama and mostly they don't watch Pashto films & Dramas. Our mission will be providing the possible reasons and to convince Pakhtuns for watching good films. We will also write about the current status que of Pashto cinema and Drama.
