5 years ago, we did the KHFF Grindhouse Grind-Out. During the final export, there were some technical issues that prevented us from exporting with the color corrected footage and a revised audio track from Ben Lavoie was sent last minute that I didn't have time to include. Now, years later, I finally went back and finished the project and uploaded it to our page. Here it is for everyone's viewing pleasure.

The topic we drew that year was "Cinematic Universe-sploitation." Many of our films already share a universe, so we decided to feature our own characters in a parody of the "Avengers: Infinity War" trailer. The result is some non-canonical Porterverse silliness featuring some of our regular characters and concepts mentioned in past films.

Featuring:
C.j. Tagurself McKinnon as Agent Miller
Gregory Lane as Director Harris (voice only)
Robby Lewis as Jon Porter #1 and Melvin Patterson (voice only)
Jamie Hickman as Agent Gabbard
Steve Winfree as Agent Brown
Eileen Sullivan as Jenkins's Girl
Dustin Palmer as Jenkins
Sarah Lister as The Puppetmaster
Tabitha Neilson as Agent Sullivan
Lydia Baxter as Vampire Girl
John Silva as Thomas White and the voice of Sulak
Mary Wallace as Jon Porter #2 (Jen Porter)
Crystal Braeuner as Nicole

As we work on pre-production for our TN10 film, which also serves to mark ten years of Atomic Oasis Productions, I wanted to take this time to talk about the Department 24 logo and where the design originated. In 2014, we did a 4-minute short called "Zeroes and Ones" for the 24 Hour Film Festival. In it, the Librarian (bottom image) had a design painted on her face that included the number "24" and imagery that was meant to bring to mind a circuit board. Later, when Department 24 was created to act as a foil to the character of Jon Porter, we refined that design into something that would work more as an organization emblem (top image).

There, that's a thing you know now.

Also, did we just imply a connection between Department 24 and the Librarian?
