KWEM was a historic radio station in WEST MEMPHIS, AR that influenced the course of modern music in the late 1940s through the 1950s. King, Johnny Cash, among many others. ASU Mid-South of WM, AR recently revived KWEM as an Internet-based station to draw attention to the area's musical heritage. KWEM Radio has also been granted an LP-FM license and will begin broadcasting at 93.3 FM later this sum
