#RSS Ban by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
The first deputy Prime Minister of India , Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on whom the statue of unity has been built had officially banned the RSS organisation under his leadership. Today BJP and RSS ask why Sardar Vallabhbhai patel was not made PM but they forget that if Sardar Patel had been primary PM then he would have dismantled RSS completely instead of temporarily banning them leaving no space for opposition. Pt. Nehru ji was more democratic and tolerant towards the Opposition when there were no opposition in the parliament except one or two members but still he would respect their views and opinions.
Another interesting fact is that Sardar Vallabhbhai patel had taken the ownership of partition and acknowledged that partition of India happened is the right decision considering the situation of those times however MK Gandhiji was strongly against the partition but BJP and it's supporters have also argued and attributed Gandhiji as reason for dividing India which is completely baseless and not true.
