Here’s a little secret: I stopped cutting my hair short six years ago when I lost it due to lupus. I always felt I should keep it long because it takes me literal years to grow it out, and I might lose it again during lupus flares or due to treatments I might need (and I think I looked bad with short hair, lol). Only my mom and cousin cut my hair since it’s thin and I find going to the salon a waste of money because it only takes a good 10 minutes to cut. But last year, I wanted to change my hairstyle and my hair started growing fast after the haircut. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up cutting it three times. 🤣 Feels so nice to be able to try new hairstyles again without worrying when it’ll grow back. Here’s to living life and celebrating small wins. 🥂

[VLOG] Guess who survived covid and chemo? 🙋🏻‍♀️

I've been gaining and losing weight (gained 7kg in 5 days because of water retention), have limited energy to do things, chubby cheeks/moonface because of steroids, bad cramps, edema, and arthritis since November. It was physically challenging but thanks to my family for being patient with me especially when it’s hard and it's painful to move. I had to deal with different sets of side effects every 2 weeks but thank God I'm finally done! Watch my latest vlog to know my journey! :) Link in bio!
