We're in the final stages of the relaunch and to celebrate the resurrection of Dying Scene (and to help refill our coffers), we're throwing some good ole fashioned punk rock shows across the country! We're kicking things off with an early show in The Mile High City at Ratio Beerworks (Overland) on Saturday 6/4! If you're in the area, come out and have some Award Winning Beer, dine from the finest of Food Trucks and slam around to some INCREDIBLE local punk bands! If you're not in the area, stay tuned for more dates/cities!

Ahoy, comrades!

The hamster wheels are furiously spinning away over here at Dying Scene HQ as we continue working toward the official relaunch.

First and foremost though, thank you for all of the support and positive messages so far; we’re super stoked that you’re super stoked! And so we got to thinking…in order to help keep the ship afloat and charging full steam ahead, ensuring we can continue to highlight all of the scene news, stories, photo galleries and original content that you’ve come to expect from Dying Scene over the last decade or so, part of the relaunch will include a Patreon page for fans to join!

But here’s the thing…we need your help. We want to know what offers you would like to see from a Dying Scene Patreon page. Exclusive podcast content? Discord Channel access? Custom merch? Access to exclusive Playlists/Staffer’s Top 10 Lists? No idea is a bad idea (well, maybe except a wall calendar featuring your favorite Dying Scene HQ staffers…nobody needs to see that)! So, go ahead and slap your suggestions down there in the comments. Over and out!

Let's GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Greetings, comrades! We know….We know. It’s been awhile… Over the past few years while the site has been down, we’ve attempted a number of different ways to resurrect the existing website and have come to the conclusion that the cost (and more importantly, the effort needed) just wasn’t worth it. So, after months of careful deliberation, we’ve decided to just redesign and launch a whole new site for you, because we love you so much! What you’re looking at here is an invoice for that brand new, shiny website. Quite a hefty price tag, right?? Now, you see why it’s taken us so long. We’ve finally saved up enough shekels to pay for the work though and should have you elbow deep in punk news sometime this coming Spring. With this relaunch, we’re going to be focusing on how we can allow our readers (that's you!) to contribute more content to make the site truly ‘for the punks by the punks’. So, if you want to contribute album/show reviews, Top 10 Lists, original content, etc, we want to hear from you! Email us at [email protected] with the subject title “Contributor” and we’ll add you to the list and follow up once we get the site back up and running and the tools in place to allow you to start contributing!
