We've been getting a lot of questions and hearing speculation about who is running Ascension moving forward. So we thought it best to make our own post clearing things up and introducing your hosts. Ascension will be carried forward by Luke Newman - owner of Dragon Fire Events and Cody Skinner - Resident DJ System Fail. We have both been an integral part of Ascension for many years, and together will work to continue to bring you the best possible Goth / Industrial night that we can. We'd also like to introduce Rice Tombs as our Promotional Director, and Destiny Carnes as our Director of Merchandise and Brand Expansion. We look forward to seeing you all out at future events, and hope that you will help to spread the word of Ascension to others so that we may continue to grow and honor the legacy that Brent created.

Thank you to everyone that came out to Ascension: A Goth Industrial Night (18+) @ The Masquerade this past Saturday for our tribute to Ascension founder Brent Carnes. Words can't express how grateful we are for the support that's been shown. Atlanta, we love you 🖤🖤

I'm still speechless, still in shock. Brent was the founder and promoter of Ascension Atlanta, and words can't express how much he did for our goth/industrial community here in Atlanta. The ripples of the work he's put in have been felt across many states, many scenes, many communities. Brent was one of those people that could see right through any walls I had up, and was a genuine friend. Someone that was always a message or call away. I attribute so much of who I am as a DJ to him, the example he set, and the event he built. If you can make it out to Ascension: A Goth Industrial Night (18+) @ The Masquerade tomorrow, we will be hosting a tribute for him. Ascension was his pride and joy, he was so proud of what it became, and all of us in the Ascension family strive to continue to make him proud.

Yooo thank you to everyone that came out for the Ascension Atlanta Industrial Nightmare party at Dragon Con this year! We had an absolute blast! Aa always, props to Cult of Dragon Con DJs for keeping the parties organized, and The404.life for the great photos!

Dragon Con this year was, as always, such a wonderful time! It was an honor spinning the Ascension Atlanta Industrial Nightmare party on Saturday night alongside Lechter and Weasel. Thank you to everyone that piled into the Atrium with us and partied until literal dawn with us!
