To the shock of no one, another Finnish coach has been hired in Poland.

48-year-old Antti Karhula is taking over Unia Oświęcim. Has served as a head coach in the ICEHL, Mestis, and Slovakia and as an assistant for Estonia.

Polish national team goalie Nadia Ratajczyk has been loaned to Frölunda HC in the top women’s league in Sweden!

Ratajczyk plays for Järnbrotts HK, in the Swedish second league. She made her first appearance with Poland’s senior squad at last month’s Olympic qualifiers.

After Oświęcim’s loss yesterday, Nik Zupančič resigned as head coach.

The Slovenia coach won the club their first championship in 20 years last season. This was his second stint and fifth year coaching the squad.
