Poland U20 took third place in the Ostrava Hockey Cup. The tournament also some stars of Poland's U18 squad vy for spots on U20 junior teams in Czechia and Germany

In their second bit of pre-season action, the Polish U20 squad went to Czechia for a tournament with junior clubs from Czechia, Germany, and Slovakia.

The top level of women’s hockey in Poland, the TAURON Ligi Hokeja Kobiet, will continue in 2025, with nine teams playing a 16-game schedule.

National team forward Dariusz Wanat has hung up his skates for cleats. He will play with LKS Poręba.

Wanat played in 7 non-IIHF games for Poland, 4 this past year. He represented Poland U18 and U20 squads at IIHF events. A veteran of 438 THL games, he is a two-time champion.

GKS Tychy had the fewest goals scored against them in the THL last year, but they were in the league's bottom half for scoring. With their offseason refresh, they should be on top of both stats in 2025

GKS Tychy scored 124 goals this past year, 12 behind Podhale and 26 behind the next-lowest team that slotted into our first tier of clubs.

It was a big week for GKS Tychy, as they signed two national team stars who both received interest from foreign clubs.

Alan Łyszczarczyk has re-upped for another season after leading the club in points during the 2024 season.

Pas has signed a two-year contract with Tychy after spending the last three years with JKH GKS Jastrzebie.

Fudeko GAS Gdańsk has signed Jamaica national team defenseman Jahwara Rennalls.

He previously played in the NCAA D3 for Castleton University and spent the last two years in Sweden with Helsingborgs HC. He represented Jamaica at the 2022 Latam Cup and 2024 Challenger series.

Poland will host both of their Women's IIHF events in 2025! The Men's teams will travel to Romania, Estonia, and Lithuania.

As the World Championships conclude in Prague, the spotlight shifts to the 2025 International season. The annual IIHF conference is in progress and will conclude on Saturday.
