CCSU Graduate Studies Trip to Ireland and Northern Ireland - UK This blog is setup to document - the 10 day CCSU Graduate Studies IS 590 classroom trip to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

I will conduct qualitative interviews and quantitative research data on the 2008 Economic Downturn and Brexit. This blog is setup to document - the 10 day CCSU Graduate Studies IS 590 classroom experience in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland (United Kingdom). The methods that I will utilize will be to conduct qualitative interviews on everyday Irish citizens and collect quantitative rese

arch data in a deductive arrangement on some economic and political effects.Through this study I hope to determine, what the people of Ireland were thinking during the 2008 Economic Downturn and compare that to the anxiety they are feeling now with the British voters decision to leave the European Union (Brexit). I hope to discover what the positive and negative effects Irish citizens feel will be fall their country and what the data says about the effects on the economy and politics of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland (UK). Examples: Trade, the IOR/UK close relationship, the IOR/EU relationship and the border region between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Will Brexit re-ignite the "troubled times" in Northern Ireland between the IRA and the British Government or Protestants in Ulster?
