“Hot and hard work,” Melissa Bobka called it, “but so fulfilling when almost immediately I was able to give a woman in need of clothing a bag of jeans that I thought would fit her. Then a family showed up, and I invited them into the truck to ‘shop’ for what they needed. They were homeless and needed sleeping bags, blankets, personal hygiene items, clothing, etcetera. Even through this terrible situation I saw beauty in humanity."
Melissa Bobka packed up a U-Haul and headed south one day late last month.
