Here is tomorrow's list for Sunday July 28 2024 Celtic Harmonics. Tune in at 88.9 FM KUCI in Irvine or www.kuci.org at 8am Pacific Time.
Sidmouth Folk Festival is the focus! Most of the artists featured will be playing between August 2nd to 9th 2024 in Devon, England. Many artists who usually have solo tracks heard here on this show will be collaborating with others. Double bass player Ben Nicholls shows up with other artists via his release called Duets!
I need to close out the show with a couple of tributes. I know I don't spotlight EVERY passing in the music world. That said, I happened to have a couple of tracks to honor, one, the last of the original Four Tops, and two, the great British blues player John Mayall. I hope you approve.

Happy Sunday! Here was the playlist for today's Celtic Harmonics. Sunday June 30 2024.
What about the instruments themselves? was what I thought when I saw the song "Singing To The Mandolin" as new music from Bonny Light Horseman. From there, I picked some more strings, a little piano, some pipe, some fiddles, and some drums.
The remaining half hour or so was new music to the station from Beware Wolves, Mark and Maggie O'Connor, Malin Lewis, Anya Hinkle, Heather Little, and Sherayah.
Finished it off with a new yet vintage piece from The Young Rascals to keep in your mind for the summer of 2024.

So last week was "basically Instrumentals".
I ran across one new song I wanted to include in tomorrow's show that immediately turned me on to the question "What about the INSTRUMENTS themselves?" So tomorrow, a big chunk of the show will be some strings, a little piano, some pipes,

Here is the playlist for today Sunday May 19th 2024 Celtic Harmonics!
Request for a theme! Request for a song just experienced in concert! And a very old request for a very prog rocky song. All requestors should be listening so I don't want to disappoint!
Theme is "Firsts, Starts, and Beginnings". I'll start out with an unusual song from my library. I'll get a little cinematic with music from Adam Young and Bear McCreary.
