Hurricane warnings have been issued for Sumter & And Western Marion County.

The National Weather Service has issued a tropical storm warning for northern Lake County. Sustained winds between 25-37mph with gusts up to 53mph.

At 6pm local time, a more precise track will be in and this warning will be elevated to a hurricane advisory.

National Hurricane Center meteorologists have changed their Atlantic storm prediction to a “higher than normal” storm prediction. 15-18 named storms, 11-13 becoming hurricanes, 3-5 major hurricanes. As of now there is nothing spinning up.
