Congratulations to World Equestrian Center - Ocala for being named one of 50 hotels and resorts to make the Time World’s Greatest Places annual list which highlights 100 extraordinary destinations to visit and stay worldwide. It is the only Florida resort featured on the stay list. Just 13 U.S. hotels and resorts are included this year. 👏👏👏

Recognized for its oak-lined campus in central Florida’s horse country, the resort was chosen thanks to the recent opening of The Riding Academy Hotel, which added an additional 390 rooms to the 378-acre property in March “cementing WEC’s leisure appeal” along with the property’s flagship hotel, The Equestrian, and the resort’s horse shows and events, many luxury boutiques and restaurants and “chateau-worthy wine list.”

David Arcand scored back-to-back grand prix victories by closing out the two-week Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments with a win in the $50,000 RBC Grand Prix riding his nine-year-old stallion, "Phil." Stephanie Gallucci took second with Calle 67 while Maggie Jacobs and Clyde VA was third after jumping off on Wesley Clover Parks beautiful grass field. Read more at JumpMediaLLC.com

Congratulations to Bella Mancini on this great award from Connaway & Associates Equine Insurance Services, Inc.!

In late June, Bella Mancini was awarded the Connaway & Associates Junior Sportsmanship Award at the Summer Spectacular. When she wasn’t caring for her own horse, she was helping her barn mates clean tack and muck stalls and was quick to help the show pass out ribbons. In and out of the saddle, Bella had a smile on her face and took every opportunity she could to learn and support other riders. Congratulations, Bella! 👏🏅🤍

David Arcand closed out two weeks of competition at Wesley Clover Parks with a win in the $25,000 Grand Prix! The Montreal native rode Phil v/d Wezelse Heihoeve to victory, followed by Stephanie Bourassa as runner-up aboard Chrome d’Argouges while Ottawa’s own Karen Sparks rounded out the top three riding Lugano. Looking forward to seeing everyone again in July for the Ottawa Summer Tournaments!
