It was a kind of sandwich today! We had a volleyball game, a JDs burger (super legit burger) lunch topped off with a cold beer, then back to the second volleyball game.

Peep my middle child. He always secretly pops in to photos and I love it. 😜

While he has traded out his Army boots for his work boots, his service is still marked on my heart.
And even in my newest , I still sometimes have to be on tippy toes to kiss him.

My love, I’ve loved watching you be a flag football coach.
You poured patience over every play.
You showed up to every practice with a mindset ready to teach these boys how the game should be played.
You highlighted one boy a week and played the game specifically focused around how he wanted to play.
You took a group of young boys and turned them in to a team.
You are THE hero to our middle son.

It was a great season. 💙❤️

No filter car selfie because I had my second Morpheus face/neck treatment with ! This is what I looked like immediately after leaving the appointment. My face may be a tad swollen for the next few days but the recovery is nothing crazy.

After my first treatment I was absolutely blown away with the glowing results and visible improvements. I’ve never seen my skin glow like this and it’s allowed me to wear wayyyyy less makeup. I was honestly happy with my healthier, firmer skin after just one treatment but given that this is done in a series of three, I’m ecstatic to see the final results! Two down, one to go.

My “good ol’ family Pumpkin Patch” dreams came true today at . At this ‘teaching farm’ we saw baby chicks in all stages of life, held the softest bunnies, watched six different kinds of goats, laughed at a sassy turkey, rode a hayride, played yard games, and even learned about the basics of aquaponics.

I loved it.
My kids loved it.
Even my husband loved it.
Oh, and it was free.

Timberview has all kinds of events throughout the year and is currently open every Saturday in October from 10am-3pm. Memberships and produce box purchases all provide agricultural education to children in Tarrant County. To learn more, click the link in my bio!

Months ago I was invited to sit down with to learn about the difference they make directly shutting down drug houses in our city.
Read that again: they shut down drug houses.
In fact, one of the most recent drug houses they have shut down had been a known drug house for 39 years and was located right off Camp Bowie.
Read that again: 39 years.
I was blown away. Using the civil justice system and brave neighbors who want to see an improvement of the safety in their neighborhood, Act is walking the walk.
Fast forward to Tuesday evening. Dan and I hosted an educational evening with Act at the Fort Worth Club , featuring Josh Crawford, to learn about Fentanyl, it’s affects, and how Act/FWPD are combining forces to combat it in Fort Worth with a room full of difference makers, friends, and family. Every person was impacted by what they heard.

Act for Justice has been in Dallas for 15 years and now they’re making their mark on Fort Worth.
It’s only the beginning and they’re already making a difference.
