NEMESIS SOPOR "Firmament"
It seems like yesterday that I was reviewing Nemesis Sopor's latest studio album. Oh what am I saying, it seems like yesterday that I even spoke up here. Maybe I should do this more often again? To briefly recall: The album was wonderful, one of my favorites of 2017 and I said that Nemesis Sopor should actually belong to the spearhead of German BM. What was interesting about this album called "MMXL" (=2040) was that it was thematically about a singular AI that will surpass human intelligence in the future. For all interested I recommend reading the album lyrics and the interview I did with the band here:

So. 2023. It's still some time until 2040, but machine learning and AI are on everyone's lips since some very popular tools have been made available to the public. I don't want to miss the chance and let ChatGPT review the new album in the next section (with some prompt input, of course). Enjoy:
---------------
"Nemesis Sopor's latest release, "Firmament," is a brilliant follow-up to their 2017 album, "MMXL." The German black metal band continues to deliver a high-quality and powerful sound that fans have come to expect. The album's themes of determinism and freedom are explored with intensity and depth through the lyrics. The band's ability to convey complex philosophical concepts through their music is impressive and sets them apart from many other black metal bands.
Musically, "Firmament" is a masterpiece. The guitar riffs are heavy and memorable, while the drums provide a thunderous foundation for the music. The vocals are raw and aggressive, yet also nuanced, adding an emotional depth to the songs.
One of the strengths of Nemesis Sopor is their ability to seamlessly incorporate different musical elements into their sound. From the use of atmospheric keyboards to the occasional acoustic guitar, they never shy away from experimentation while staying true to their core black metal sound.
The production quality of the album is excellent, with each instrument and element of the music perfectly balanced. It is available in CD, vinyl, and digital formats, making it accessible to a wide range of listeners.
Overall, "Firmament" is an impressive and powerful album that showcases Nemesis Sopor's musical prowess and intellectual depth. Therefore, it is without hesitation that we give "Firmament" our highest recommendation. It is a must-have for fans of black metal and is highly recommended for anyone looking for intense and thought-provoking music."

And, what do you think, does this chatbot already exceed human intelligence?
As a small (human) note: This is so one of the best albums in 2023. That it has caused me to post something again after 2 years is a good indication, right? Buy this thing, go to concerts, the whole nine yards. My favorite song: "Monument". Or "Detritus"? Not sure. Killer album.
