Brief history:
Started broadcasting on Preston FM 2007, Preston FM gained full-time licence in 2008, Full Metal Racket broadcasts for 2 hours fortnightly.
2015|:Preston FM changes name to CityBeat 103.2FM. Leave City Beat in May 2015, join the ranks of Planet Mosh June 2015! Plays all genres of metal - heavier, the better. Local bands always supported, as well as internationally established acts.

Past shows from late 2011 are available to stream via www.mixcloud.com/fullmetaracket. Bands interviewed include Mastodon, Kreator, Xentrix, Mordred, Entombed AD, Triptykon, Fear Factory, Hate Eternal, Evile, Municipal Waste, Dragonforce etc as well as local bands
