⚠️ SCAM ALERT ⚠️ Please read. ⚠️
We are posting this because we are seeing a lot of profiles and pages being hacked. This is a a SCAM.
If you are tagged by ANY page that claims to be Facebook or Meta, it is a lie and it is a scam. You will receive a notification in your notifications and it may appear to be legitimate, at first. It is NOT. If you click the link that they supply and fill in your information, your account WILL be immediately hacked and you WILL lose your page(s) and possibly your personal profile permanently. If you have any financial information attached to your accounts, the scammers will have access to this information and they will be able to purchase Facebook ads with your money. As most of you may already know, it is almost impossible to speak to a real human at Facebook so trying to fix this or sort this out becomes, virtually, impossible. Protect yourself!
Please take note that these scam pages do not always have the same names or text but they are all very similar in nature and they all have a suspicious link. They all use a scare tactic to try and deceive you into clicking the link and sending them your log-in details in a panic. Again, if you are tagged in ANYTHING like this, it is a SCAM.
Please do not fall for this scam. We’ve had a lot of our friends lose their profiles and pages to this scam and the worst part is, you CANNOT get your business page back and you will lose all of your followers. Please be vigilant.
This is not a joke. Please inform your friends.
