While watching the movie Kalki, I made some noteworthy observations. The theater was packed, and the audience was eager to experience this epic film. Kalki has a significant connection to our culture and the history of the Mahabharata. During a scene introducing a character from the Mahabharata, I noticed that some younger audience members were laughing and making fun of his powers, saying, "Aisa bhi hota hai kya?"

This reaction didn't stop there. When everyone started calling SUM80 "Maa," the younger viewers failed to understand the logic behind this and why SUM80 is named Sumathi. It's interesting to note that when we watch movies like Avengers or Dune, we don't question or ridicule the characters. However, when it comes to films like Kalki, there is often disbelief and mockery of the characters.

I am not asserting that Kalki is the best sci-fi movie, but I want young people to appreciate the rich heritage and phenomenal history of the Mahabharata. When they see Prabhas wielding Karna's lightning stick, they should understand the origin of this power rather than make fun of it. Kalki is not just a movie set in a dystopian future; it also connects deeply to our history and its prophecies.
