this light but moody leaf.

how something so singular. can be part of so much more yet we often only see what is right in front of us.. and not the true scale.

this is stock Grove boat house which is now part of Rushmere country park.

the old boat house actually burned down in 1963 before it was open to the public in 1972.

and the base and arch still stand as a reminder today, where it is a good nesting spot for mandarin ducks

a bright long Holly Bush growing in the woods. with thag sun lighting up the woodlands..

followed by a moody tree stump a little while later showing the power of lighting how it can make the same place look so diffrent

so we are heading back into the forest, with the nice moody shot of a tree stump with a little moss for character.

I love how deep the greens come out in the first edit.
and how bright the second is.. but I'm all in on the first one.

we are going full lens flare on this one...

I captures a couple from this spot and this is by far one of my favourite,

the way the harsh sun silhouettes the trees and shines off those Holly leaves

there is always darkness and light,
I often find my self on the darker side..
it's where I have become more comftable, and spent a majority of my time, with brief periods of light...

even when it seems dark and dim, and no matter which way you look your surrounded.. there is always, a shimmer of light, and its that light that leads the way.

at the entrance to Rushmere there us this carving of a old gentleman the fairyking . he greets you as you enter. and then following him you have multiple fairy doors as well as some friends of his.

if you have little ones its a good morning out seeing them knock on the fairy doors.

we went out around 10pm and it was cloudy out, didn't look like I was going to get any stars,but then there was a small 20 minute break in the clouds and I managed to capture some...

it's cool how the town wall holds so much inside it, and then the castle on the end.

outside the walls of caernarfon is this rather cool anchor and other bits from times long gone.

we have this massive anchor with a bouy a propeller and a old iron dredge claw..

which where all pretty cool.

on our last day we took a little walk around caernarfon and started off at doc fictoria marina.

it's only a small marina but was a pleasant little place to make our way over to the walled town .

so directly behind the cove I have been sharing the last week or so was this lake, and mini woodland. and theat golden hour sun made everything so pretty. with a slight reflection from the water

not sure if it has any special purpose but was a nice feature of the area.

when a sunset can supply, such a canvas as this its hard not to get it right.

and for me this was amazing to witness and just take in.. the colours and the visual spectacular I was presented.. is a memory I'll keep forever
