I was just turning 14 that month and I received a check for $5. I still have a copy of that check to this very day. The Burdicks were the ediors of the American Square Dance Magazine and Mikeside Management (a caller's newsletter) and they graciou

sly published my cartoons on a regular basis. (Stan is a retired square dance caller and a Milestone Award Winner of Callerlab . He is also known for the creator of the comic strip DO-CI-DOLORES.
