Last night, my Unsane Radio brother and friend John Boissy, aka The Bleu Fez, passed away, surrounded by family and love.
Spending the last few years with Fez on Unsane Radio was joy and laughter, sharing and celebrating our nerdiness and love for all things popular (and unpopular) culture.
Fez loved Star Trek more than even Gene Roddenberry. Every incarnation.
His knowledge of comic book lore and history was a deep well that overflowed with boyish glee.
He loved and collected Mego figures, excited that Mego was getting the license to release Marvel figures again.
One of the kindest, good souls you could ever be fortunate enough to know.
His web comic here on Facebook, Wee Freekz, is a family-friendly delight, a modern-day Peanuts, and is a window into the gentle goodness, charm, and humor of his heart. Check it out. You'll be happy you did.
Fez, you will always be gooble gobble, gooble, gobble, one of us, one of us. Love you, brother.
