for their third album, london underground punk legends BRAIN APE have veered hard left towards adding hip-hop and hyper-pop flavours to their sound 👾 can you hear the billie eilish and childish gambino influences in their latest single? bit.ly/DowningStreetMV
despite the new sound, BRAIN APE have kept their ferocity as a live band. on july 19th they will be hitting the stage at london's incredible engine rooms. you won't want to miss it --> /bit.ly/ScratchRockEvolutionFest
for their third album, london underground legends BRAIN APE have gone in a new direction combining their stoner rock past with influences from hip-hop and alt pop. “we’ve gone from being nineteen-year-olds making music about growing up and hating ourselves to being grown men making music about how we hate everybody else!” said frontman minky très-vain last year 👾
BRAIN APE's 2022 single 'mcmi. fenchurch king' was a sharp left turn for the band's sound. this year's 'mcmx. downing street' combines the new sound with grittier guitars and fatter riffs
the single and music video for their new single will be dropping on july 3rd, a day before the uk's national general election. is that a coincidence? or do BRAIN APE have any intentions?
