On our final episode of 2025, Mike sits down with Boston artist & producer MaceyOMaze, and artist manager Ty Boogie, both of whom are a part of the eclectic group Ethereal Visions (or commonly known as EV) and are making waves within the New England music scene. Macey & Ty discuss how EV was formed, as well as the influences they have drawn from groups before them, much like Van Buren Records. The guys also discuss how VB has been supportive of EV’s rise as well.

MaceyOMaze is also on the heels of dropping an incredible project titled ‘See You In Boston’ in collaboration with legendary emcee and producer, Edo G, who fully produced the album. Macey discusses the full circle moment of Edo G being his father’s favorite artist growing up, and how shooting the video for single “Father’d a Child” was a dream come true for him and his family.

Mike, Macey, & Ty also discuss a variety of topics and stories, including Ty nearly getting stranded in NYC, Macey’s vast knowledge and fandom of video games, and so much more.

On Episode 144 of the Guest Speaker Series, we welcome artist & producer, Ishan, to the show! Ishan has been steadily on the rise in MA & beyond showcasing immaculate wordplay, and production that has reached a national level, in particular on Termanology & Paul Wall’s “Do It For the Ghetto” featuring Big K.R.I.T.

Ishan takes plenty of time on this episode paying homage to his parents who instilled a high-level work ethic in him at a young age, and his management and creative team who have helped to bring that work ethic to life in his music.

Ishan also talks at length about his new project ‘SMOKEBREAK’ which saw many different iterations before its release. While it’s only a short EP, this features some of his best work to date, with hard-hitting production and effortless bars.

Mike & Ishan also discuss a variety of other topics, including Ishan’s work as a cancer-research scientist, his extensive experience traveling the world, and so much more.
