On Episode 142 of the Guest Speaker Series, we welcome a rising R&B/hip-hop star in the MA music scene, Yanna G, to the show! Yanna is fresh off the release of her latest album ‘ON EVERYTHING I LOVE VOL. 2’, produced in full by Billboard-charting producer Chase N. Cashe, with features such as SVMBV, Nay Speaks, Funeral Ant Bell, & Hil Holla. Yanna discusses her evolution as an artist from the album’s predecessor, as well as what it’s like to work with someone like Chase N. Cashe. She also shares her experiences performing at No Hype Fest earlier in the fall.

Basketball was also a huge part of Yanna G’s identity growing up, which she discusses at length, especially her decision to quit playing competitively despite receiving Division 1 interest. Her transition into making music was seamless, especially have musical influences like her father growing up.
