Community Partners Transform Vacant Lot In a public-private partnership spearheaded by Mayor Regina Romero's Tucson Million Trees initiative, the community gathered for a tree planting event. A 10,000 square-foot vacant city-owned parcel in Barrio Centro/Julia Keen neighborhood was transformed into a green space open to the community.
