Introducing Industry’s final theme of the year: Moon Landing! 🌙
The light of the night, and the tide’s controller; a close but desolate figure in the sky’s vast expanse. For as long as humankind has gazed up at the stars, we have wondered what it would be like to land on the moon; now it’s your turn.
The object of one of the greatest political competitions of modern times, and arguably an empty one; a spiritual symbol of mythologies across our planet’s time and space; how do we interact with this floating lump of rock when seen up close?
Dusty footprints on a silent desert, cold and unforgiving; the weightless bounce of an astronaut untethered by gravity’s pull. The moon offers a new, alien, perspective; show us what you see from your lunar lookout.
We want your thoughts, your scribbles, your collages, your poems, your paintings, your dreams, your fantasies and your most ponderous wonderings. As always, send it all to [email protected]!

ECSTATIC DANCE WITH INDUSTRY 💃
Wanna boogie away the Hilary blues? If you’re on your Dry January grind and wanna exercise ur mind, come shake ur bum and have some fun at Industry’s first ever Ecstatic Dance session in St. Hilda’s sanctuary room next Thursday.
Ecstatic Dance is a way of connecting with your emotional core, while simultaneously releasing those bottled-up frustrations by going feral on the dance floor. Just close your eyes and dance your demons away, in a completely substance-free, judgement-free environment.

The first theme of this academic year is a purposefully vague prompt for all ye creatives out there to come up with (or submit) some artistic endeavours - be it writing of any kind, painting, collage, photography, or something less easily categorised.
We welcome all submissions - related to the theme or not (we are kind and benevolent magazine editors).

Please - we beg of you - just be ALL TOO MUCH in your writing and artwork, whatever form that might take. Oxford students are no strangers to imposter syndrome so we might as well make something cool from feeling a bit out of place.
We want your oddest concoctions as a part of our mag!
