So it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here, and I’ve not been updating my #50DayofDoo from Instagram. Well I’ve completed it, and to celebrate, I’ve put together a Scooby Minisode using what I created during the challenge.
I had a lot of fun creating this, hope you enjoy!

Ok so I know it’s really late, I mean it’s July 😬but here is day no. 31 of MerMay!!!
So I wanted to add a bit of motion to the series and although there’s nothing really major in here, there was a lot of organisation involved in having that many characters and elements in one shot.
So this was one of the most epic shots in the movie and I knew when I started this project that I would have to somehow recreate it in mermaid form, and I’m very happy with the results.

SHAZAM!
Knew I wanted to make something quick for the new @shazammovie , he was always one of my favourite characters growing up so I was incredibly excited for this movie, even if he isn’t called Captain Marvel anymore 😂
This was a really fun task to do and it gave me some new #lipsync to use for my showreel, created in @toonboomanimation #harmonypremium

Here’s a quick walk cycle I made to test the rig and make sure it’s working. There are a few things that need fixing in the rig such as parts of the leg sticking out which I meant forgotten to mask out. I also feel like the addition of elbow and knees at the joints will help the animation disguise some of the joints when the rig is moving

Here’s a Toon Boom Harmony 360 rig that I’ve been working on with built in comic book shading.
This has been a great practice in learning about rigging as to get the look of somewhat realistic anatomy I have had to break the rig down into even more body parts than normal.Of course this effect could have been achieved with many envelope deformers, I was mindful however not to use too many of these as they would be very heavy on the computer, especially with the lighting effects being added to rig as well.
It’s not quite finished yet as there are many little adjustments I would like to make to the rig, however it’s finally at a place where I am happy to show it properly online
