Soulz Of BD - The dedicated force of Bangladesh Esports
At a lot of times gaming and esports mean much more to some people than what it is to the majority. Of course majority changes with borders. And I have always been a mad guy, loving to do things no one would think of only for the reason that being basic is too boring.
You wondering who I am? I am a nobody but my country yes it is something. Bangladesh, the valiant nation which till date struggles to advance. A nation with a glorious history and comebacks, with people to whom emotions are a place never to be stucked, with possibilities yet to proper nourishment. In other words a place of struggle even after 49 years of independence. Even though Technology is our source of power overall development has not been achieved (Yes maybe but not in true sense). and any adult would say yes to that. Because percapita increased but social mindsets of peoople didn't Because even though computers and gaming isnt just luxury the scope of esports industry in Bangladesh is still a dim light. But that is the reason why I am writing. Because we aimed to be a transistor to that dim bulb and why is it a "thing"? because here people consider that a "risk".
What? Bangladesh is such a nuisance? Nah sorry! One of the fastest growing countries in the world, with a huge yet scopeful population, with people gradually updating themselves to the outer world, a history the world still salutes to, a culture still rich to various is not at all a nuisance. What lacks in the country is mentality to support, mentality of cooperating instead of competing, mentality to siege the opportunities, mentality to do your thing even if "society" doesn't support. Here most people have to do what others expect them to and which they term as "going with the flow", once you try to go against it you know the rest. But these shackles to peoples mind only gives more the reason to why our souls have turned on this path. That is the raison d'etre for Soulz Of BD.
HOW IT STARTED
There is another catch here and another "risk". We are not obviously the first esports team and certainly not the last. The esports entities of Bangladesh have always started out on PC titles such as CS:GO, DOTA 2, League Of Legends, R6:Siege and many of them have dominated overseas as well taking the country name to another level. But we started from a platform where "esports" was just a joke. Yes! The mobile platform and till now mobile esports is still somewhat hindered and obviously due to legit reasons. And that is the reason we are here to change the perception. Soulz Of BD is more family than a team because we prove a fact unaccepted in our society that "Online games are one of the best ways to socialize". Values, Cooperation, Protocols, Sense of responsibilities, mutual respect and courtesy are what differentiates our faces from others.
Soulz Of BD started in 2018 as a group of gamers playing out PUBG Mobile only for entertainment purposes. But before the release we knew this title will take the world and it did. Gaming has always been about entertainment and passion to us from way back we could remember. However portable gaming changed the aspect of esports so much that we had to take it up. And thats where our esports journey started and now Soulz Of BD is a name not unknown to the PUBG Mobile Community of the country. It was a slow journey but it was worth it. Our journey magnified only after our Mobile Legends Squad Signup and we knew that the future is ours to make
WHAT IS OUR GOAL
Our goal is to establish what makes us different from others. We believe every esports player has a brand value of their own which is our prime concern among prize moneys and player facilities. Promotion and enhancement of that brand value is our key target. Esports players should get a deserving spot and thats why exposure is needed otherwise talents get lost in the span of time. Our goal is to establish the system of esports where organizations can focus on the promotion of their players rather than just providing them facilities. We believe esports players are faces of an esports team. The faces must be bright. That job is ours to do. Our hunt for sponsors and PC Title teams will go on.
