Haaksman Media was created by Mikon Haaksman after working nearly twenty years in the film and video production industry. Mikon began working in video production while still a student in college where he edited fellow student films to help pay for his tuition costs. He then moved to Los Angeles where he worked on numerous films at all levels of production, settling finally on film editing. It was
here that he began learning the craft of storytelling. In the early 2000′s, Mikon moved to Houston and began working in the corporate world. He found the corporate video production scene to be a great place to use his storytelling skills to turn normally mundane productions into stylistic videos which were compelling, eye catching, and successful tools for his clients.
