Ocean City Police are sharing this video of five men believed to be the suspects in a shooting near the boardwalk on Monday 9/5. Police say a man was involved in an altercation with the suspects around 2:30 a.m., in the area of N. Division Street and Atlantic Ave. Detectives working the case think someone out there may have witnessed the shooting. “Update #1 (9/5/2022 8:48 a.m.): The victim is a 28-year-old male from Ocean City, Maryland. The victim was transported to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional with non-life-threatening injuries.
The preliminary investigation indicates the shooting occurred after a brief altercation. There is no threat to the public at this time. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
