Ocean City Police are sharing this video of five men believed to be the suspects in a shooting near the boardwalk on Monday 9/5. Police say a man was involved in an altercation with the suspects around 2:30 a.m., in the area of N. Division Street and Atlantic Ave. Detectives working the case think someone out there may have witnessed the shooting. If you can help identify any of the subjects seen in the video, you are asked to contact the Ocean City Police Department tip line at 410-520-5136. You can also email information to [email protected] or call the Police Department directly at 410-723-6610.

“Update #1 (9/5/2022 8:48 a.m.): The victim is a 28-year-old male from Ocean City, Maryland. The victim was transported to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional with non-life-threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation indicates the shooting occurred after a brief altercation. There is no threat to the public at this time. This is an active and ongoing investigation.

Three Baltimore City Firefighters were laid to rest today.

On Monday, January 24, 2022, four Baltimore City Firefighters entered a three story vacant row home on Stricker Street in West Baltimore. Crews reported heavy fire on arrival. A few minutes later, three had died and another seriously injured when the structure collapsed.

At a Mass funeral held at the Baltimore Convention Center, hundreds of friends, co-workers and family came to say goodbye.

| | Update on Baltimore City EMT/Firefighter McMaster who is recovering at Shock Trauma after suffering burns and two leg injuries during a triple fatal fire on South Stricker Street. Four firefighters were trapped inside a vacant home when it collapsed Monday morning. Three of those firefighters died fighting the blaze. A fourth survived with serious injuries. Chief Ford issued a brief statement saying John McMaster is awake; his condition has also been upgraded to fair.
