Welome Bae! I've created this space for you to follow me on my journey on quads. Skating was never a "hobby" for me, as i used to rollerblade in my twenties. Although I didn't purchase my first pair of quads until June 2021, due to muscle memory, I didn't start completely from the bottom lol 😉. For the longest time I was afraid to skate around others, because I knew noone, and i knew nothing. Over time, my love for the Serotinin this provided for me, started to outweigh the fear of the unknown. I started venturing out to lake paths first, to get familiar with concrete, and eventually started frequenting rinks, where those who started to recognize me, showed a girl a few thangs 🤪🛼I have taken a few classes from some AMAZING instructors, but for the most part, this is self taught! Fast forward to today, I am now at two sets of skates. A pair for indoor, and a pair for outdoor...i see this being a slight problem, but it's not a crack habit so 🙃 I've even inspired others to start/resume skating, as well as made a few #SkateBaes to meet up with to enjoy the art 💃🕺
