Celebrating our anniversary during a pandemic (and at like 35 weeks pregnant) was definitely DIFFERENT... BUT, it did give us a chance to try out Mellow Mushroom 🍕 and that was pretty yum so 👍🏼

These past few weeks have been busy busy busy for us! Nesting has been in full affect - all of baby girl's clothes are washed and her nursery is done and our hospital bags are packed! - AND we were so blessed to be able to have a COVID safe virtual baby shower with our family and close friends. Baby girl was spoiled rotten and we had a great time playing virtual games 🤗 Now, we sit back and wait! (And by sit down and wait I mean pop into the nursery every 10 minutes and fold and refold clothes and pitter patter about waiting for baby girl to make her appearance 🤣).

Being pregnant during a pandemic means that you give up a lot of things: the idea of having a "normal" baby shower, the love and support of your closest loved ones in the waiting room while you give birth...

But one of the most painful pleasures we have been robbed of was the opportunity to see our daughter on the screen together for the first time. Hearing her heart beating, alive, healthy... TOGETHER...

It sucked. BUT we made the most of the situation... And around the beginning of the third trimester we visited a private "ultrasound boutique" and we experienced together the moments that we had been longing for throughout the entire pregnancy. It was just as magical as we had dreamed and one of the greatest "luxuries" we could have given ourselves 🥰
