A genuinely useful new IG feature! Add a separate caption to each slide of your carousel…
There are real benefits to using this new carousel feature to make the most of your content.
Start by creating your carousel post in the normal way:
tap the + at the top of your profile
then select Post
Tap Select to choose more than one photo and/or video from your camera roll - you can select up to 20. My advice is to only Select what’s relevant to your overall message.
Then press Next top right and add music, and any embellishments to your slides
Once your creative is complete you’ll be given the option to type out your caption.
You should see Single caption and a little arrow next to it. Press that for the Single or Multiple caption options.
Type out the caption for each slide. Simply swipe to the next slide to type the next caption. You can add hashtags for each one too.
Once you’ve posted, your audience will see a separate, relevant caption under each slide. This should guide them through the message of your post.
There are endless creative ways to create carousels and use this feature to showcase what you do and what you sell. Always try to think of ways you can inspire, educate or entertain your audience so that they value your content.
