I’ve got a billion and a half tracks in what I’ve come to lovingly refer to as the “discard pile.” Every day I would add to this pile, it grew into a sort of primordial ooze if you will 😉 from which the music you eventually get to hear is cultivated and birthed. Maybe the idea wasn’t strong enough on its own to serve its intended purpose so it would be cast into the pile, but inevitably something would come out of it that I would immediately repurpose and start anew. A drum pattern, an instrument patch, the makings of a melody or just a general vibe… never a wasted moment making music even on a song that never gets to see the light of day… until I swallow my pride and post it on social media. #musicproduction #vgm #notavolcano
