I'll be honor and extremely happy to see you on September 21st for the next Bliss Salsa & Bachata Social, until then, please stay healthy and keep dancing 💃🕺 !!!!

‼️‼️Attention, attention dancers! Change of date for the Bliss social: since our regular date coincides with the Seattle International Salsa & Bachata Fest 2023 , and I’ll also be DJ-ing at the event, we’re moving Bliss! Salsa and Bachata Social a week early, which is this Saturday, October 7!!! I know it’s last minute but hopefully you can join us! This time we will not have a bachata room.
Come practice your moves and warm up before the festival! Getting excited about it, let’s do it! 💃🕺🤗

Bio:
Raised in Mexico City where salsa dancing is huge and a big part of the culture; Diana Sandoval (also knowns as Dee) fell in love with dancing at a very young age. Her dad had a dancing background in Mexican Folk dance, which was key in the life of both his parents. Both sides of her family were an inspiration for her when it came to dancing; admiring how they would enjoy themselves at parties while they were moving and turning. Her love for the music was noticeable at a very young age, which eventually turned into her gathering a huge collection of tropical music which she collected just for fun and to fulfill her music desires.

Dee arrived in Seattle in the summer of 2013; but it wasn't until 2016 when at Salsa N’ Seattle she would play a few songs towards the end of the night. Slowly Dee made her way to play sporadically on Tuesday nights. Her unique taste in music caught people’s ears immediately; her taste for “Classic & Vintage” songs made her style easy to identify. As she kept playing on Tuesday nights and also kept pursuing her other passion which is dancing, she met several Dj’s from the Pacific Northwest and sparked an interest among the community. Soon after she started sharing her passion for music a several Seattle venues including China Harbor, Belltown Dance Studio, Mambo Pica Pica and Salsa N' Seattle, making people realize that she was in for the long run. That’s when Dj Lady Dee was born

Ever since she had been playing more regularly in the Seattle area, Dj Lady Dee has been invited to Dj in different Portland venues as well. Currently Dj Lady Dee has been dedicating her free time to sharpen her skills to share with the dance community and make them dance their hearts out to her tunes, just like she has enjoyed music shared by other fellow Dj’s.

Anytime there’s an opportunity to play music and get the party started Dj Lady Dee is more than ready, equipped with her tunes, her moves and that contagious energy she carries in the Dj booth or the dance floor with her whole heart.

Out of an abundance of caution, I want to let you know that a dancer who attended Son Candela on Saturday let me know that they tested positive for Covid today. The dancer did not have any symptoms while attending the social. The symptoms (mild) only started yesterday, on Monday. I sure hope everyone is feeling fine, but in case you don’t please test yourself to make sure you don’t spread to anyone else.
