Hello everyone! As we reach the beginning of a new academic year, Tea will be looking for new volunteers to help publish our yearly magazine and build up our literary community. Tea Lit Mag’s award-winning podcast, Tea Party, interviews Gainesville creatives and is currently looking for a co-host and assistant sound engineer. Apply now with the link in our bio! We are beyond excited to announce the release of our 24th issue and will be hosting a party to commemorate this special occasion!

Join us this Friday, April 15th at the Harn Museum of Art at the University of Florida, at six o clock in the evening to celebrate the accomplishments of our incredible staff and everyone who submitted to our magazine this year! Food and refreshments will be provided so you won’t want to miss out! 🫖🌿

On December 8th, Tea Literary & Arts Magazine, will be hosting renowned poet-artist Debora Greger for a poetry reading!

Winner of the Award in Literature from the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters—among many other recognitions—Greger has mastered the conversation between art and the written word.

Anyone with an interest in either should join us at the Reitz Union, Room 2365 at 7PM!!

Happy Tuesday gators! We would like to send a huge thank you to everyone who attended our Halloween Reading Party on October 27th! We had a great time and truly enjoyed hearing all of the spooky readings including a powerful performance reading of “The Tell-Tale Heart” by Edgar Allan Poe (who also was in attendance- 4th picture) by MFA Candidate Thomas Vazquez.

We will be exploring the history of horror, Gothic, and Halloween aesthetics, as well as what those aesthetics can bring to your art. Come out for performances of classic Halloween poetry & short stories, hands-on creative activities, and a costume contest!🎃📚👻

Hey everyone! We’re very excited to announce that our submissions period will be opening this Friday Oct. 8th! The link to submit will be posted in our bio by that afternoon. To kick off the festivities, we’ll be hosting a Water-Color Party at Plaza of the Americas. Make sure to swing by between classes to paint on our big mural and meet some of the editors!
