I just want to take this time out to say Thank You. 😌🙏🏾 As we close out another year by the grace of God, I’m left feeling grateful for everything that has taken place. Granted, not everything was easy, but everything most definitely is a learning experience. It’s another moment for growth and introspection.

Then of course there’s those moments where we begin to criticize ourselves “I didn’t do enough” “I didn’t get to do xyz this year” mannnn forget about all of that for a second and pause. You’re alive, you’ve had plenty of wins in the moments you least bothered to glance at and you’re winning by just being a light in so many peoples lives. You’ve impacted, stunned and humbled others around you. Stay true to you.

I read something earlier today by Joseph Solomon on twitter where he quoted bell hooks. It read— “self love cannot flourish in isolation.” To bear witness to the greatest love of self, you must also bear witness to how others have learned to love you, flaws and all. Have a happy new year y’all. ✨

Allergies are kicking my butt, but still felt cute. 🥰 plus I had an amazing Holiday weekend with friends & family. 😊️ The love was felt forreal. I appreciate everyone God has placed in my life & I see the swift changes he’s making even now before stepping into a new transition. I’m excited for everybodyyyyy. Great things are up ahead. 🙏🏾✨

Also last nights episode season finale of Insecure had me in shredssss 😭 snot nose crying and all. One thing stuck out though, everyone chose THEIR joy & what was best for them & I loved every minute of it. 🥰

Happy Monday! Hope your Holidays have been good to you. As for me, I’ve been sleeping like crayyy lol. Idk if it’s just me, but this week my body said “REST!” So I’m listening.
