FROM THE ARCHIVES: Ian Llonoso had caused a stir in Twitter when he posted his illustrations of various Pinoy delicacies such as halo-halo in the style of the popular open-world online game “Genshin Impact.”

“The ultimate summertime treat made with shaved ice drizzles with milk, sweetened beans, jelly, fruits, flans, and topped with ice cream,” Llonoso wrote on the virtual halo-halo’s description.

The summer heat has been too much to bear lately.

On “Dobol Weng sa Dobol B,” Department of Health Undersecretary Dr. Eric Tayag shared last week some helpful reminders about heat stroke, heat exhaustion, and heat stress, as well as some ways to deal with these.

He encouraged the public to plan what time to go out and to take breaks in the shade when outdoors.

“O kaya naman, you can break the cycle. May payong ka, o kaya yung isusuot mo 'yung hindi 'yung makapal, manipis. Tapos meron kang baong tubig, umiinom ka po nun. O kaya naman ay—dapat niyan may pamaypay ka,” he said.

So lets talk about Diluc!

Diluc is a powerful Pyro-elemental character in Genshin Impact and is often used as a main DPS (damage-dealer) in many team compositions. Here is a general guide for building Diluc in Genshin Impact:

Weapon: Diluc performs well with a 5-star weapon such as "Wolf's Gravestone" or "Skyward Pride" as they provide a significant increase in base attack and additional damage bonuses.

Artifacts: The best artifact set for Diluc is the 4-piece Crimson Witch of Flames set. This set increases Pyro damage bonus and boosts Diluc's overloaded and burning status effect. Alternatively, the 2-piece Gladiator's Finale and 2-piece Crimson Witch of Flames set can be used for an increase in attack and Pyro damage bonus.

Talent progression: Focus on leveling up Diluc's Normal Attack talent and Elemental Skill talent first, as they provide the majority of his damage output. His Elemental Burst can be leveled later.

Team composition: Diluc benefits from characters that can apply elemental reactions, particularly with Hydro or Cryo characters for Vaporize or Melt reactions. Some popular choices for a Diluc team include Xingqiu, Bennett, and Chongyun.
