Dutch born, Berlin based long time DJ and producer Matthew Dekay needs little introduction. After launching the successful label and party series 'All Day I Dream' in 2011 with Lee Burridge, Matthew embarks on a new mission in 2013, 'Fur Die Liebe'. The emerging label, named after the seminal record on ADID that redefined his sound in the electronic music world will be a further exploration of thi
s style with the simple concept behind it to gather a group of talented and like-minded musicians chosen simply for their love and passion, abandoning the typical record label hierarchy. Matthew says "I want to be a part of a collective where everyone has a say, inspires each other and can also collaborate directly on music together. I would like to work with a maximum of 12 artists for this project. Already on board we have Kjofol, YokoO and Powel, with the rest to be revealed as the project develops." Swedish Art director Kalle Haasum will oversee all visual aspects for 'Fur Die Liebe' as well as sourcing artists for collaboration including Ruben Brulat and tape artist Buff Diss. Every release will be treated as an individual piece of art where the print on the record sleeve matters just as much as the music pressed on the vinyl it holds. "I just want to make every facet of this project as good as it can possibly be and a memorable experience for everyone involved" concludes Matthew. Matthew Dekay,YokoO and Fritz Zander will take over the decks on the stunning terrace at Oval Space, London, on the 1st of September to introduce the label. The first release is scheduled in late October and will be available to purchase exclusively on a limited vinyl run.
