Staveley Cheek Andrews
Cheek has been a professional audio engineer for more than 20 years,
and has extensive experience in live concert sound and studio recording. He has worked for Electric Factory Concerts and Clair Brothers Audio,
and mixed Jerry Lee Lewis, The Marshall Tucker Band, Twisted Sister,
The Violent Femmes, and many others. He was an engineer at the legendary Sigma Sound S
tudios in Philadelphia,
where he recorded R Kelly, Tha Dogg Pound, and Borialis. He now owns his own commercial recording studio and has a client list that includes John Legend, Fantasia, The Stylistics and Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. He is also the head audio engineer at Full House Studios and the Theater of the Living Arts in Philly and continues to mix artists from all genres of music. John is a lifelong musician, artist and band leader, and has played with such great artists as: Patty Labelle, Roy Buchanan, Bruce Channel, Styx, The J. Geils Band, Chet Atkins, Kix Brooks, Ricky Nelson, Jim Horn and Wayne Jackson of the Memphis Horns, Joe Stampley, James Burton, Danny Gatton, and to many more to mention, he was also nominated for a regional “Emmy” for writing the theme song “Jammin” on, WSMV,s hit TV show, “The Saturday Morning Show” in Nashville Tn. Currently recording, writing and producing @ “Fullhouse Studios”, for various artists in Nashville Tn.
