OFFICE RUNNERS: Bristol-based
RDF West is looking for two Bristol-based Office Runners to work from our Clifton office, Bristol.
Runner 1: February 20th 2023 (Minimum of 10 weeks)
Runner 2: February 27th 2023 (minimum of six months)
We are looking for new entrants that are passionate about television, have boundless energy and enthusiasm and a hunger to learn.
The two Office Runners are given an initial six-month contract. During this time, the Runners’ main responsibility is to keep the office running smoothly. This includes responsibilities such as answering phones and greeting visitors to the office, booking couriers, ensuring kitchen and stationary supplies are well stocked, and running errands outside of the office, among other tasks.
When a production needs a Production Runner, the Office Runner may take that role, be it for one day or two weeks. This gives them valuable experience working on productions, as well as building their confidence and highlighting their skills. Day to day, Runners are allocated to productions in the office to help with research or organisation.
At the end of the initial contract and subject to commissions, RDF endeavor to place each runner on a production or with the development team, either as Production Runner, Production Secretary or Junior Researcher depending on their chosen career path.
The salary is in line with the National Living Wage.
Driving is not an essential part of the role, however, please mention whether you hold a full clean driving license.
IMPORTANT: Please write ref: ‘BRISTOL OFFICE RUNNER’ in the subject box stating which dates you’re available for and send your CV, together with a brief summary of why you’d like to work with us and a note of where you are based to: [email protected].
Those shortlisted will be contacted and invited for an interview. We receive a high volume of interest for these roles, so apologies in advance for not being able to get back to all applicants.
