Every step in making p**o bumbong tells a story—from soaking the rice to the final steaming. This beloved treat is more than just food; it’s a piece of tradition, especially during the holidays when it’s best shared with loved ones after Simbang Gabi.

Soft, chewy rice topped with coconut, muscovado sugar, cheese, and a drizzle of condensed milk—each bite is a perfect balance of tradition and sweetness, bringing comfort and nostalgia.

Living abroad makes this even more meaningful. We use rice, not flour, staying true to the traditional process. It’s a labor of love, and I make sure every piece is just right, going through 3–4 trials during R&D to achieve the perfect texture.

It’s the process that’s as rewarding as the first bite. Watch how every piece is made with care and dedication, reminding us all of home.

As a Kapampangan who moved to the U.S. and hasn’t been home in years, I’ve been craving the distinct flavors of home, especially something as unique and comforting as p**o bumbong. Its purple, sticky, and slightly nutty texture paired with margarine, coconut, muscovado sugar, Philippine cheese, and sweetened condensed milk is truly nostalgic. It’s more than just food—it’s a holiday tradition and a reminder of Simbang Gabi in the Philippines.

Recreating p**o bumbong here can be tricky, especially without the traditional bamboo steamer, but it’s not impossible. After rounds of R&D, we’ve finally perfected our p**o bumbong! Soft, chewy, and full of that classic flavor you know and love. Each batch is freshly made with care, capturing the warmth of the holidays in every bite. It’s been a journey to get the texture, flavor, and aroma just right—and now, it’s ready to share!

🌟 Due to the intricate process of making it, p**o bumbong is available only once or twice a week.
📅 Pre-orders must be placed 48 hours in advance to allow us to prepare the rice, as it requires a 24-hour soaking process.
