The Digital Divide Documentary Empower Project (DDDEP) has three major goals:
(1) Create a professionally mastered documentary that will cultivate awareness on issues of inequity in North Minneapolis and challenge dominant media narratives about the community. (2) The youth productions interns employed through the project will graduate with invaluable media production skills and the confidence to
become media producers in their community. (3) A major screening of the film at the Capri Theater in North Minneapolis including additional screenings. Also, broadcasting on public access channels.
