What an adventure. Thank to Business Wairarapa, Splash Events, Noise Productions, that was unique and I’m proud to have been a part of it. Let’s go bigger and better and slicker next time!

When Business Wairarapa approached us about doing a massive hybrid awards dinner across 6 different venues with full, two way broadcast video feeds in and out of every venue, we said… why not.

With screens and cameras in each venue, hosts, speakers and winners were spread across all 6 venues.

The event was then live streamed on Facebook, YouTube and broadcast on local television.

Thanks to the team at Splash Events for dreaming up crazy ideas like this and of course Ben Brunskill for helping us turn those crazy ideas into reality with a lot of hard work.

Hybrid events are now the way to go to eliminate covid risk and while they may not all be as insane as this one, it’s now possible to link venues and participants in fun and engaging ways that were previously only dreamt about.

Another successful event today with sound from my tiny this tiny little stick PA system easily provides enough volume for clear speech and background music for 100+, with excellent wide coverage. Ain’t technology a beautiful thing?
