Last year, I called a few dozen Toyota dealers and found that the 2023 GR Corolla had a $15k average markup. The upcharges have slowed and Toyota finally seems to have production humming, finally making it a decent time to buy one. I grabbed this 2024 Premium trim last that had been sitting for a few months before the markup came off. If you’re looking for one, be patient. My local dealers said they wouldn’t take orders or reservations, though many later told me they did. Finally, keep in mind that many of us will need to immediately swap the Michelin summer tires on this car for winter rubber, so plan for that added expense.
