Happy Bicycle Day 🤩

Albert Hofmann's Bicycle Day is an annual celebration of the day when Hofmann, a Swiss chemist, first intentionally ingested L*D-25 on April 19, 1943.

Hofmann rode his bicycle home from the laboratory after taking the L*D, and his journey became a legendary part of the history of psychedelic culture. He reported experiencing intense changes in perception, including vivid colors and patterns, altered sense of time and space, and a feeling of oneness with nature. This experience was the first intentional L*D trip, and it paved the way for many future experiments with psychedelic substances.

Today, Bicycle Day is celebrated by people around the world who recognize the important role that L*D and other psychedelics have played in expanding our understanding of consciousness and human experience. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the risks and benefits of these substances, and to continue the conversation about how best to use them for therapeutic, spiritual, and creative purposes.
