Wicked Take: “Heart Eyes”.
Heart Eyes, directed by Josh Ruben, and starring Olivia Holt an Mason Gooding. Heart Eyes is a blend of slasher horror and romantic comedy that does a decent job of both. Some fairly brutal kills with some romance and laughs mixed in makes this a good date night pick for any brave couple. While I think through most of the movie the killer was solid, brutal , and creative my main bone to pick with this movie is the motivation and killer reveal were very lack luster an undercooked. Which is why I can only give this sweet yet sour flick a 6 out of 10 bones. 🦴 🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴.

Hot Take Review: The Monkey 2025. Directed by Oz Perkins (Longlegs 2024) staring Theo James and Colin O’Brien. The Monkey is adapted from the Stephen King short story of the same name. I throughly enjoyed this movie and without giving away any spoilers would advise any fan of Kings work, Shaun of the dead, or Final destination to see this film in theaters as much for the audiences reactions as for the film itself. A delightfully wicked watch. 8 out of 10 bones. 🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴
