I remembered that a damaged aquarium has been gathering dust in the basement for about 5 years. I came up with a new project idea, so I thought I'd fix it because a tank like this isn't cheap. I was nervous because I've never done anything like this before, but the end result turned out quite well!
I've created a relaxation video for you with wonderful aquarium scenes and fantastic soothing music and jungle sounds. Just start it on your TV and enjoy it in the background. In April, this 160-liter aquarium turned one year old. 🎉
I absolutely love its natural look, but it seems to enjoy a bit of distance too, as there's always a hint of algae in it. 🌿 What do you guys think? Do you like it? Should I make an update video about it?

I started the aquarium more than 2 weeks ago.
So far so good, the plants are growing nicely.
I'm a bit worried about the monstera, as I had to cut it into several pieces to put it in the aquarium. I hope it survives. I plan to add a few more plants above the water. The nitrate levels are very high because of all the soil, so l'l have to wait 1-2 weeks with the fish. How do you like it?

I had an idea to show you my 2 favourite nano aquarium types. I recommend these mainly for bettas, maybe some nano fish and shrimps and lots of plants. Each type has it's own characteristics, shallow is my big favourite. Overall for beginners I recommend the cube tank, it makes life easier.

I built this small aquarium a few years ago, but I have never filled it with water. I just put it here and there. I liked it, but I never found the finishing touch. I made the decoration out of dragon stones and red moor roots, and used sand for the substrate. Not too complicated, but nothing more is needed. I just got an idea and turned this 10 litre tank into a great little shrimp paradise. It's inhabited by Orange Sakura shrimps, I just planted a few plants(bucephalandra and moss). I planted a philodendron on top. A tiny water pump keeps the water moving. I really like it, I can finally enjoy it. How do you like it?
